From 5 October 2026 most visitors must buy Kenya Government travel health insurance inside the eTA application; foreign policies are not accepted.
Apply at least 2 weeks before travel; passport needs 2 blank pages.
Enhanced Ebola screening for arrivals from Uganda, Ethiopia and DR Congo (FCDO, Aug 2026).
Yellow fever certificate needed if arriving from (or transiting over 12 hours in) a yellow fever risk country such as Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Burundi, DR Congo, Rwanda or Tanzania.
