- Since 1 Jan 2026 every visitor must hold health and accident insurance of at least GEL 30,000 for the whole stay.
- About 95 nationalities (EU, UK, US and more) are visa-free for up to 1 year.
- FCDO advises against all travel to Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
